Some of our parishioners will be “orphans” this Thanksgiving, unable to be with family or friends. Can you invite one or perhaps more “orphans” to join you? If you yourself will be alone, can you host a Thanksgiving feast for other “orphans”?
These are questions posed by Elisabeth Graham, a Basilica parishioner, who, in this podcast, shares about "Room at the Table," an idea whereby parishioners volunteer to host those who don't have a place to go to during Thanksgiving so that they all share a meal together.
